N.B. Should there be any issue due to the current pandemic that might in any way affect this course, you will naturally be fully refunded. The venue is intelligently run, students will bring their own couch coverings and water bottles/glasses, and all other necessary precautions will be taken to ensure this is a safe haven for us all.

This course is open to hands-on therapists and movement practitioners. An intensive course designed to increase the practitioner’s ability to tune in to the client, perceive areas of restriction, elicit the causes through assessment of the client’s daily habits, and respond to the deeper subtleties of the client’s emotional and physical state using fascial unwinding as an effective tool. Through a careful combination of theory and practical, the therapist is taken to an increased level of awareness and ability which provides a knowledge-base suitable for addition to most therapeutic work.

The primary aim of this course is to develop the therapist’s understanding of the fascia and their ability to feel and release fascial restriction.  The energy work is included because Fascial Unwinding releases stagnant energy and the ability to be aware of, and clear the energy blockages enhances both assessment and treatment. Self-care and own-body awareness are also covered in this course.

This is a stand-alone course that blends well with most modalities, plus the required foundation course for the Body Realignment diploma course, which is temporarily on hold as the revision process has been disrupted by workload changes during the pandemic.

Insurance: This course is insurable through Balens and Holistic Insurance or should be accepted by your insurers under the umbrella of ‘fascia work’; please check with them if you are uncertain.

N.B. Most courses run but you are advised not to pre-pay travel/accommodation until you have confirmation that there are sufficient numbers on the course for it to go ahead. You are recommended to book your accommodation on site with Claire, our host, and we will confirm once the minimum of six attendees has been reached.

Cancellation policy: Your deposit is your commitment to the course and is non-refundable. If you have paid in full but are unable to attend the course due to exceptional circumstances, you are welcome to transfer your place to someone else as long as they are suitably qualified at a fee of £30. If this is not possible the Principal will look to resolve the situation in a way that is fair to the student and to the school and will if possible transfer you to another course but charge a one-off £30 administration fee. Please note that a minimum of six students are required for this course to run and if your late withdrawal means the course cannot run, you will be unable to do so out of fairness to the other students. On our side, if for any reason we are forced to cancel, we will offer you a place on another course or refund 100% of all monies paid.
